Broke

      by Gregory Liffick

Took
from
herself
until
no change
left to
her name.
Life was
always
at the
bottom
of the
piggy
bank.
Almost
thought
the
porcelain
face was
laughing
at her.

Gregory Liffick has been writing poetry for many years. He has had several poems published, as well as two chapbooks, Watershed and Earthbound.
